Here is the final update on our Japan trip, we have few extra dates......
unfortunately Osaka trip was cancelled :-( But are especially looking forward to performing at Mount Fuji.

onedotzero, the ground breaking globe trotting festival of digital moving image is back for another sensational year with action - filled days of progressive moving image material from around the world, showcasing japanese premieres, presentations, panel discussions and a special live event.
D-Fuse will also be around to present their film Light Turned Down during the festival. Also D-Fuse will be VJing alongside Hexstatic, State + Unit 9 for the onedotzero kick-off party at Soundrepublic, Tokyo.

AUG 23 ¬ METAMORPHOSE FESTIVAL. MOUNT FUJI. JAPAN.
Festival, situated at the bottom of Mount Fuji! Metamorphose is the biggest electronic event in Japan, will be attended by more than 4000 people + features musicians such as Joey Beltram, Si Begg, Four Tet + Merzbow. D-Fuse will be playing with Sebastian Leger between 1:00 - 3:00.

AUG 28 ¬ PECHA KUCHA. SUPERDELUXE. TOKYO. JAPAN.
Klein Dytham architecture presents Pecha Kucha night every month at SuperDeluxe, their gallery bar for thinking + drinking in the heart of Tokyo. Pecha Kucha (Japanese for chatting) is 20 people showing 20 images each, each for 20 seconds.
It is a forum for architecture, design, fashion, students - anyone who wants to stir up the design community in Tokyo. It is fast paced + fun. This month along with KDa - SuperRobot, Namaiki, Lomo Japan, Professor Kazuhiro Kojima, Nagisa Kidosaki + the Tezukas line up with D-Fuse for their 20 x 20 seconds of fame.

Extracts of the D-Tonate_00 DVD will be shown at this pre-club screening in Glasgow. This event is attended by promoters, filmakers, artists etc. and intends to showcase AV - VJ talents. The screening is followed by a live performance by Glasgow artists.

D-Fuse are VJing at the 4th Retro_Vert alongside VJ's Sanfrandisco + Exceeda.

SEP 05 ¬ ONEDOTZERO VJ PERFORMANCE. MUNICH. GERMANY.
This 3 day mini onedotzero will feature talks + screenings of different English artists such as D-Fuse, Unit9 + GLP. Hosted in the heart of munich at Muffathalle, the friday night there will be a 3 hours VJ Performance by D-Fuse with musicians Funkstorung, Dan Faulkner + Bediuin Ascent.

This years Ars Electronica 2003 features the main theme CODE - the Language of Our Time. D-Fuse's new DVD D-Tonate_00 will be presented within a kind of "living room" setting during the festival.

AUG 03 ¬ BIG CHILL REVIEW EASTNOR CASTLE. HEREFORSHIRE. UK.
A very good sunny festival + we got sunburnt. The sanctuary stage [where we performed with Jaga Jazzist] had an amazing LCD screen that was so bright, it was very visable during the day!!. Below is what Phil Johnson from The Independent Newspaper said about the Jaga Jazzist set, but no mention of D-Fuse :-(

"A Norwegian 10-piece whose members double + even triple instruments to create an incredibly flexible unit...... Jaga Jazzist is the best band I've seen all year. Real music may be catching up with the Big Chill aesthetic after all. " 07.08.03 Independent Newspaper. UK.
